Craig Matthew LaSovage, of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, was born June 1991 to Kirsten A. LaSovage. He spent the first few years of his life raised in the Bloomfield Hills area in Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. In 1996, Kirsten relocated her family to a small town in the mountains of Colorado. Craig and his little brother Zack were able to grow up surrounded by the mountains where they enjoyed skiing and snowboarding. Living in Colorado allowed the family to own many pets, including dogs and horses. Kirstens love of horses was passed on to her children and they all enjoyed rides in the country.
