Dorothy Brege, of Grand Blanc, age 78 years, 6 months, 18 days, met Jesus face to face, on Friday, August 3, 2012. Dorothy was born in Flint on January 16, 1934, the daughter of the late Dewey and Irma (Wilder) Klee.
She was a graduate of Flint Technical High School. On March 22, 1953, she was united in marriage with Mr. Robert A. Patterson and he preceded her in death on August 20, 1999.
On January 16, 2000, she was united in marriage with Mr. Donald R. Brege.
She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Flint, member of Dorcas Circle, Choir and Altar Guild. She loved her Savior.
Dorothy enjoyed dancing, walking, reading, boating and spending time with her family.

Visitation for family and friends was held from 5:00-8:00pm Sunday, August 5, 2013, and 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm on Monday, August 5, 2013, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Dorothy was in state at the church from 10am Tuesday until the time of the service
Funeral service was held at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at St. Paul Lutheran Church 402 South Ballenger Highway, Flint, Pastor Jeffrey Walsh officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church Endowment Fund.
We praise God for His faithfulness and the mercy that He showed her throughout her life. Even though we will miss her dearly, we have the assurance through Christ's redeeming work on the cross of a grand reunion with her in Heaven.
