Wife of Richard Giovi CPL US ARMY

Patricia L. (Pat) Giovi, 85, of Pullman, WA passed away on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 at Whitman Senior Living Community in Pullman, WA.

Pat was born Feb. 25, 1927 in Elmwood, Nebraska to Eldon & Freda (Buell) Stark. She grew up in Nebraska, moving to Seattle, WA at the age of 16 with her family.

Soon after high school graduation, Pat married Richard "Dick" Giovi in Wisconsin. They made their home in Seattle, WA until 1976 when the family moved to Pullman, WA where they purchased and operated the Dick Giovi Ford dealership and towing company.

Pat worked side by side with Dick as bookkeeper of the family business. In addition Pat was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. They made Pullman home until returning to Seattle following retirement and sale of the family business.

Following Dick's death, Pat returned to Pullman three years ago. She enjoyed crafts, needle work and flower gardening. Spending time with her family was important to Pat.

She is survived by her daughters Cindy Giovi-Lester of Pullman; Sharon Collins of Ravensdale, WA; 5 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Dick, Pat was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.

Services will be held on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 at 11 AM at Edline-Yahn Covington Funeral Home in Kent, WA with burial at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.
