James J.L. Deloney 86 0f Fulton Mo. passed away at Fulton Manor Care Center on Friday February 1, 2013. He was born August 31, 1926 in Silex Mo. the son of the late Lenny and Rose Anner(York) Deloney. On February 2, 1957 he was united in marriage to Berneice(Gallop) Deloney who preceded him in death. On July 2, 1996 he was united in marriage to Mary(Stratton)Dunavant Deloney who survives of the home.

J.L. Will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, one son, Dwayne Deloney(Sherri)of Hannibal, one daughter, Linda Lechner(Stan) of Willard,one stepson Scott Dunavant(Stacey)of Rogersville, one stepdaughter,Suzanne Guerrant(David)of Fulton. twelve grandchildren, Nick,Alisa,and Logan Lechnr, Ryan and Rachel Deloney, Justin and Caitlyn Guerrant, Sydney an Shayley Dunnavant, Donna Winters, Debbie Clubb, Delores Fox. seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son,David Deloney one brother, Bennie Deloney, three siters, Myrtle Phillips, Georgia Wolfmeier and Mary Shiverdecker.

He served in the Navy abroad the U.S.S. Sigsbee in the Pacifc from 1944-1946 worked for Harbison Walker for many years and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church, I.O.O.F. Pst 265 and the American Legion.

Funeral services will be 11a.m. on Tuesday February 5, 2013 ar Southside Baptist Church in Fulton, with Rev. Guy O.Thomas officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7p.m. Monday February 4, 2013 at Maupin Funeral Home. with I.O.O.F Service at 6;45 p.m. Interment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens with Full military honors.
