Sherry Lynn Thomas Allen, age 58, of Thomaston, Georgia, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Upson Regional Medical Center from Breast Cancer. Mrs. Allen was born on October 6, 1954 in Fulton County, GA to the late Leslie K. Thomas, Sr. and the late Beatrice Pittman Thomas.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Thomas. Survivors include her husband, Ricky Allen of Thomaston, GA; son, Jason (Shelly) Allen of Griffin; daughters, Lynn (Danny) Carter of Molena, GA, and April Allen of Thomaston; brother, Ken Thomas of McDonough; sisters, Darlene Warren of McDonough, Shelby (Paul) King of Covington, Dee Dee (Robert) Bishop of Conyers; grandchildren, Nick, Page and Maggie Carter, and Cara Allen; sisters-in-law, Lynn (Daniel) LeBlanc, Patti Higginbotham, Gwen (Dan) Blubaugh; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services conducted on Thursday January 31 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, Griffin, with Brother Darrell Hayes officiating. Interment in Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville, GA. Heritage Funeral Home, Griffin, GA, in charge of arrangements.
