Funeral service for Janet Lynn Taylor, 52 of Fletcher, Oklahoma was at 9:30 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2012 at First Baptist Church Memorial Chapel at 501 SW B Ave., Lawton, Oklahoma.
Burial was at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Eligin, Oklahoma under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gary Funeral Home.
Viewing was for the family and friends on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 10 a.m.
A special viewing and visitation for family and friends was at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
Mrs. Traylor passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2012 in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Janet was born on October 24, 1959 in Gould, Oklahoma to Wayne and Billie (Michael) Carpenter. She grew up in Gould where she attended local schools, graduating high school. She attended Howard Technical College for nursing in San Angelo, Texas. Janet was a Licensed Practical Nurse where she worked for over 28 years caring for patients. She worked in Lawton for Wackenhut Corrections and Victory Home Health and Hospice.
Janet married John E. Traylor on October 3, 1992 in Arlington, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandson, Gage May.
