Services for Mrs. Bunah Ethel Bowman, 89, who died Tuesday night in a local nursing home, were held at 10a.m. Friday in Burgess Funeral Home.

Officiating was Rev. Lonnie Harris, pastor of Bowie Assembly of God Church. Burial was in Truce Cemetery under direction of Burgess Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bowman was born Feb.17,1888, in Cooke County, Texas, and has been a long-time resident of Montague County. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include three sons, Warty, Jake and Eldon, all of Bowie; seven daughters, Mrs. Alta Medley and Mrs. Opal Walker, both of Bowie, Mrs. Ilene Downey and Mrs. Eunice Yondell, both of Ardmore, Okla, Mrs. Oleta Gibson of Arbuckle, Calif., Mrs. Deltas Ratliff of Wichita Falls, and Mrs. Alva Maxwell of Henderson, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Ellie Hamilton of Jacksboro, Texas; 36 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-great-grandchildren.
