Tonya LeAnn "Sunshine" Walsh, 32, of Ridgewood Lane Millers Creek, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. She was born December 18, 1980 in Wilkes County to Michael and Jackie Summerlin Walsh. She was a member of West End Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Nannie Bob Summerlin, her paternal grandfather, Oteen Walsh, and one nephew, Jayln Walsh.
Survivors include: her mother, Jackie Summerlin Broyhill and husband, Randy of Millers Creek; her father, Michael Walsh of PA; one sister, Tammy Walsh of North Wilkesboro; one brother, Shawn Walsh of Wilkesboro; one stepbrother, Cody Walsh of Concord; maternal grandfather, Ed Summerlin of Millers Creek; paternal grandmother, Rosalee Wood and husband, Gene of Boomer; two nieces, Harleigh Walsh and Baileigh Walsh; one nephew, Justin Walsh; sister-in-law, Kristie Walsh.
Funeral services will be 2:00 o'clock Sunday, February 3, 2013 at West End Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Whisnant and Pastor Donald Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at West End Baptist Church from 1:00 until 2:00 o'clock on Sunday prior to the service.
