Mrs. Abraham passed away on Thursday, January 31st, 2013, in Norman.

Entombment will be at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home.

Susan was born November 21, 1944 in Walters, Oklahoma to Leonard L. and Mary F (Austin) Rainey. She moved to Lawton at 6 months of age and lived in Lawton from 1945 until 2012. She moved to Cache, Oklahoma in March 2012. Susan attended Will Rogers Elementary, Central Junior High and Lawton High School.

She married Jerry W. Abraham on May 5, 1961 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She and Jerry owned and operated Jerry's Electric since 1974. She worked as a Secretary for Chevalley Moving and Storage from 1969 to 1979. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Lawton Firefighters Local 1882 from 1963 to 2010. She had held every office in the auxiliary. She was a member of the Oklahoma State Firefighters Women's Auxiliary since 1963. She served on the executive board from 1976 to 1982, serving as President from June 1980 to June 1981. She also served a second time on the executive board from 2007 to 2012 serving as President from June 2010 to June 2011. She served on numerous committees. In June 1984, at the annual state convention, she received the Auxiliary's "Woman of the Year Award." She was a charter member of the Lawton retired Firefighters Association which was organized in 1987 and served as Reporter, Secretary and was currently serving as Treasurer. She was a past president of the Will Rogers Elementary School P.T.A and served as chairperson for the home room mothers. She was also a member of the Will Rogers Booster Club. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She served on the hospitality committee and had served as chairperson. She had served as a church teller, church treasurer, taught Sunday School and was a member of the W.M.U. and on the nominating committee.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Abraham of the home; her mother, Mary F. Rainey of McMahon Tomlinson Nursing Home of Lawton; three sons: Dwayne Abraham and his wife, Denise, of Cape Canaveral, Florida, Jamie Abraham and his wife, Darah of Cache, Oklahoma, and Todd Abraham of Lawton, Oklahoma; six grandchildren: Tiffany Grammas and her husband, Steve of Las Vegas, Nevada, Chad Abraham and his wife, Kelly of Cache, Oklahoma, Cordale Abraham and his wife, Katrina of Lawton, Oklahoma, Ashley Williams and her husband, Clay of Yukon, Oklahoma, Candace Copeland of Yukon, Oklahoma and Lexis Abraham of Lawton, Oklahoma; thirteen great grandchildren; nephew Corbett Rainey of Lawton, Oklahoma and niece Shawn Corbin of Allentown, Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard "Red" L. Rainey, her brother, Lawrence Rainey, Grandparents: Ferris Austin and Ola (Austin) Cooper, John and Nettie Susan Rainey and Step Grandfather, John Cooper, and Granddaughter, Jennifer Everett, Las Vegas, Nevada.
