Funeral services for Elizabeth Shaw, known to the theatrical world as Jonia Leilokelani, who died at the home of her parents, 3618 Sixty-fifth street Southeast, on April 15, at the age of 20 years, were held Monday at the chapel of A.D. Kenworthy & Co. Interment was in Mount Scott cemetery.

Miss Shaw, who was a native of Hawaii, was a hula dancer of note and was doing vaudeville when she was stricken with pneumonia at Washington, D.C. She was brought to Portland and died here.

At the age of 16 she made her first public appearance, dancing at the Panama-Pacific international exposition at Seattle. The following year she danced at the San Diego fair. She had been in vaudeville for the last four years and had appeared a number of times in Portland.

She is survived by her parents, James and Esther Shaw, two brothers, Charles and Edward, and three sisters, Hattie, Esther and Winnifred Shaw.

Elizabeth was referred to as Libby and when she passed away she and her siblings Edward, George (died first), Charles, and Esther were performing in Vaudeville in an act called Jonia and Her Hawaiians.
