Frederick Christoph (Fritz) Pollmann his father arrived in U. S. April 25, 1859 in N. Y. City on Bark Atlantic from Bremen with his wife's brother Friedrich Schuft family. His wife Catherine / Katherine (Catrin) (Schuft) Pollmann arrived the next summer with family June 7, 1860 in New Orleans on ship Goshen from Bremen port. Hermann Pollmann Sr. brother was Gottfried Pollmann. His nephew Christian H. Pollmann came to the U. S. in Oct. 1882 to Sibley Co., Minn.. Friedrich & Catherine had a Inn in Dalldorf, Germany. The mother Catherine is buried in Mt. Auburn Glencoe City Cem.. The father Friedrich went back to Dalldorf after his wife died, and died there in 1891. Martin Wm. Johnson & Dtr. Tara Ann Johnson Belvidere, Illinois are descendants.
