Services for Dwight Waldo Rowe of Amity will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Macy & Son Funeral Directors, McMinnville.
Interment will be in Yamhill-Carlton Pioneer Cemetery.
The funeral home will be open for visitation from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
Mr. Rowe died Nov. 13, 1999, in his home. He was 76.
Born April 16, 1923, in Sunapee, N.H., he was the son of Charles Winfield and Madge Turner Rowe. He spent most of his childhood in New England.
He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II. He joined the service in 1943 and retired in 1973 as a flight maintenance gunner.
He and Eleanor Wallace were married Nov. 28, 1945, in New Hampshire.
Mr. Rowe ran a dairy farm in Tillamook after he retired from the Air Force. In 1975, he moved to Moore's Valley, then to McMinnville, where he lived for 14 years.
He moved to Maine in 1989 to be near his brothers and sisters. He had just returned to Oregon when he died.
Mr. Rowe loved gardening.
Survivors include a son, Dwight Rowe of Amity; four daughters, Ellie Ashman of Sheridan, Lilian Burleigh of White City, Dotty Parker of Lihue, Hawaii, and Mari Renner of Parker, S.D.; four brothers, three sisters, 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1976.
