Armand G. Durocher, 59, 8 Bedford St., died yesterday at the Hale Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in Montreal, Canada, son of Moise and Victoria (Emond) Durocher. He resided in Haverhill for 59 years. He was a shoe cutter in the Kramer Shoe Co. and was a member of United Shoe Workers of America, AFL-CIO.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Evelyn (Lambert) Durocher, he leaves a son, Radioman 1.c, USN, George A., New Bedford; a daughter, Miss Maryanne Durocher, Haverhill; four brothers, Romeo, Manchester, N.H., Leo, Raul and Emile, Haverhill; four sisters, Mrs. Roland Blackburn, Kingston, N.H., Mrs. Alfred Saters, Mrs. Lionel Valcour and Mrs. Philip Dupuis, Haverhill, several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 from the Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, followed by a requiem high mass in St. Joseph’s Church at 10.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home are tonight from 7 to 9 and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
