Funeral services were held for Cassidy Joy Hodges, 20, of Lucedale on June 4, 2009, at 2 p.m. at George County Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment followed in Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. Steve Jones and Rev. Terry Pierce conducting the services.

She is survived by her four sisters, Felechia (Clay) Howell and Lillie (Phillip) Hodges-Bergerson, both of Lucedale, Heather (Kevin) Estis of Nashville, Tenn. and Rebekah Schafer of Pa.; brother, Jeremiah (Micki) Howell of Lucedale; two grandmothers, Alice Howell and Lillian Hodges, both of Lucedale; four nieces, Alyssa Havard, Alechia Estis, Journey Howell and Kyliee Howell, all of Lucedale and two nephews, Joshua Havard of Lucedale and Kolby Estis of Nashville.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alechia Hodges and Jimmy Hodges.

Pallbearers were Damion Pipkins, Josh Crain, George Bukley, Chad Nichols, Boo Salters and Dustin Hennis. Honorary pallbearers were Scott Dunn, Dwight Dunn, Adam Swenson and Seth Graham.

LUCEDALE MAN HELD ON MURDER CHARGE
A domestic quarrel turned deadly, landing a Lucedale man in jail facing murder charges. He was charged with murdering Cassidy Joy Hodges, 20.
