Marcie Hayes, 75, of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Northwest Church of Christ with Mr. Lewis Senter officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Marcie was born on May 2, 1937, to Marvin and Lucelle Williamson in Hale Center. She grew up in Dumas and graduated from Dumas High School in 1955. She married Don Carrol Hayes on Sept. 25, 1957, in Clayton, N.M. She was a homemaker and made belts, buckles and covered buttons. She was also an artist. She was a member of the Northwest Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Carrol Hayes; her parents, Marvin and Lucelle; and one sister, Marshann Williamson.

She is survived by one daughter, Diane Hayes of Plainview; one son, Kojak Hayes and wife Cindy of Channelview; two brothers, Ray Williamson of Stinnett and Don Williamson of Fritch; two grandchildren, Eric and Elizabeth Hayes; and three great-grandchildren, E.J., Ethan, and Elijah Hayes all of Channelview.

Memorials may be made to Northwest Church of Christ, India or Nigeria Fund, 2000 N. I-27, Plainview, TX 79072.
