Eva Ann (Walker) Johnson, 84, Kirklin rt 2, mother of County Commissioner Clyde Johnson, died at 12:45 p.m. yesterday at Clinton County Hospital. She had been ill for four weeks.

She was born January 1, 1894, in Kirklin Township, the daughter of Charles P. and Minnie (Frazier) Walker. In August 1912, she married Ernest W. Johnson. He died March 23, 1978.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Christian Chapel Church, Kirklin Eastern Star No. 534 and Rural Homemakers.

Survivors include her son, Clyde of Kirklin rt. 1; one daughter, Wififred D. Johnson of Indianapolis; three sisters, Lucille Gallagher and Dorothy Sears, both of Sheridan, and Jewell Vandevander of Goldsmith; one brother, Clark Walker of Whitestown; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Goodwin Funeral Home, Kirklin Chapel, with Rev. Edwin G. Waltney officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Kirklin.
