"Joseph Frank Hlinak died early Sunday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

"Mr. Hlinak was born 29 July 1895, at Melnik, WI; the third of six children born to Frank J. & Marie (Karbon) Hlinak.

"On 22 June 1921, he married Emma Stangel in Carlton (Township), Kewaunee County; he was age 25, she was 23. After the wedding the couple took up farming on Route 1, Mishicot, until 1958, when they moved to Tisch Mills. Emma preceded him in death 23 June 1958.

"He was a director of the former School District No. 6, a former assessor of the Town of Mishicot, served as treasurer of the former Dairy Farmers Cheese Factory and was a member of Saint Mary Holy Name Society and the Squeekers' Sip Club of Tisch Mills.

"He leaves a daughter, (private); two sons, (private); two sisters, Mrs. Emily Novak, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Stella Honzik of Milwaukee; a brother, Frank J. of Rt. 1, Maribel; and 16 grandchildren. A brother preceded him in death."
