Minnie V. Alexander, 91, of Carlisle, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at Chapel Pointe of Carlisle.

Born August 22, 1916, in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Parker G. and Sadie Souder Diller and the widow of Ray E. Alexander.

Minnie was a lifelong resident of Carlisle and a member of First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by daughters, Darlene Wakefield of Baltimore and Diane Bridi of Ambler; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mildred Houseal of Carlisle. Also, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.

Services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 219 North Hanover St., Carlisle with Pastor John W. Good officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be 12 p.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
