Peggy Ann Blandford, 78, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013. Funeral: 3 p.m. Saturday at Celebration Community Church. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Celebration Community Church, 908 Pennsylvania Ave., Fort Worth. Friends and family are invited to a reception at Celebration Community Church after the graveside service. Pallbearers: Tom Long, Donnie Roberson, J. Harvey, Kipling Harvey, Steve Riegel and Ev Muelder. Peggy was born July 13, 1934, in Fort Worth. She lived in Fort Worth all her life and had a long career as a medical X-ray technician working primarily at Fort Worth Osteopathic Hospital. Peggy was an avid sports fan, supporting all Texas teams and, to her, this year her Cowboys won the Super Bowl. The family would like to express thanks to the caring staff at Harris Hospital and for all the support they have received from Peggy's friends at Celebration Community Church, particularly Tom Long. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Charlsey Harvey of Fort Worth; an older brother, Don Blandford; and younger sister, Sally Roberson, also of Fort Worth. Survivors: Longtime friend and partner, Jackie Moran; brother, J. Fred Harvey; sister-in-law, Karen Harvey of Austin; four nieces; four nephews; many friends, especially those at Celebration Community Church; and her cat, Charley.
