Jerry Casey, 74, of Ivesdale passed away at 7:48 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 30, 2013) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
He was born Oct 11, 1938 in Urbana, a son to Arthur James and Nellie Lewis Record Casey. He was preceded in death by his parents and his four brothers, Art, Michael, Ross and Patrick. He married June Baker on Oct 24, 1959 in Crawfordsville, Indiana. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Theresa (Gary Spoonemore) Somers, Karen (Bill) Sprouse, Tammy (George) Tommasi, Tim (Kim) Casey and Kandi (Eric) Hall; 10 grandchildren, Joshua (Jen) Somers, Nathan (Layna) Somers, Garrett Sprouse, Allison Tommasi, Joshua, Hillary, and Megan Casey, Andrew and Tiffany Maple and Kaitlyn Hall; four great-grandchildren, Bella Somers, Kole and Gavin Somers and Kaylee Casey and two sisters, Lois (Ronnie) Kalk and Ann Smith.
