MARION - Mrs. Ruby Lee Johnson Britt, 86, widow of Stafford Britt, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia after an illness.
Mrs. Britt was born September 26, 1926 in Marion County, a daughter of the late Bob and Mattie Johnson Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mullins Presbyterian Church.
Surviving Mrs. Britt are a sister, Margie J. McCormick of Nichols; and a brother, Robert J. Johnson, Jr. of Mullins.
Mrs. Britt was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Lynn Britt; and a brother, A. D. Johnson.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, at Devotion Gardens Cemetery, with the Rev. Jason Brewer officiating. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins.
