Fred J. Moon, 95, died on January 24, 2013. He was born on January 25, 1917, and grew up in Texarkana, Arkansas. Mr. Moon lived in Shreveport for most of his adult life.
He is survived by his children, Mary Alice Peebles and Joe Bader; grandchildren, Mark McAdams, Alice Ann and Scott Hutlas, John and Jamie McAdams, Amy and Brad Lawson. He leaves to cherish his memory seven wonderful great-grandchildren.
Mr. Moon donated his body to LSU Health Science Center. An open house celebrating the lives of Fred and Doris Moon will be held at their home between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 5, 2013.
The family would like to thank his wonderful sitters and Shreveport-Bossier Hospice for all their loving care.
