He was born April 30, 1940, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, to Norvel and Florence Moore Stratton.
He was a lifelong resident of the Gile Spur Community near Walnut Ridge. He was a farmer and a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Walnut Ridge.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bobby Stratton.
He is survived by his wife Joan Stratton of the home; daughter, Kimberly Hinson and husband Terry of Paragould; Grandson, Carrington Gray and wife Ashley of Paragould; Granddaughter, Kasey Nelson and husband Cason of Paragould; Great-Grand-children, Ashton Gray, Jaylyn Karter Nelson and Garrett Youngblood, all of Paragould and many special Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services were held at House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge. Burial was in the Larado Cemetery near Walcott.
