E F Woodrum, aged 70 years, died this morning at 2:05 o'clock after an illness of over a year;s time. Mr Woodrum has been sick for some time, but his condition became much worse Saturday when he suffered a third stroke of paralysis, which caused his death.

Mr Woodrum had been a resident of Summers county all his life and for the past twenty-eight years has lived at Bellepoint, where he has won the friendship and admiration of the people of that and surrounding communities. The people who had learned to know and love Mr Woodrum are sorry to lose such a personality as he was. He has been a faithful member for the Methodist church for a number of years.

He is survived by two brothers, R M Woodrum, of Wiggins, and John Woodrum, of Talcott, one sister, Mrs John Boone, of Woodrumtown, several nephews and nieces, one of whom Mr and Mrs Woodrum raised from infancy, Prince Rollyson, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at the home tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Rev L D Candler and Rev C N Neff. The body will be laid to rest in the Bellepoint cemetery beside that of his wife, who preceded him to the grave last January.
