Maxine Blackburn Tickner Duncan, age 91, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at her home in Camdenton. Maxine was born December 9, 1921 in Eugene, Missouri, the daughter of James G. and Carrie Pope Blackburn.

Maxine married Harold Glenn Tickner on November 15, 1942 in Warrensburg, Missouri, who preceded her in death September 28, 1991. Together they had 3 daughters; Glenda, Debbie and Donna. Maxine married Ray Duncan on June 3, 2000 in Camdenton, Missouri.

Maxine attended Central Missouri State College and St. Luke's School of Nursing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who created many beautiful memories for her family and friends. Maxine was a member of First Baptist Church, Camdenton, Missouri.

Maxine is survived by her husband Ray Duncan, of the home; three daughters, Glenda Jones of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, Debbie Stoller and husband, Ronnie, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, and Donna Wheat of Camdenton, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Tammy Jones of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, Nolan Edward (Chip) Jones, of Columbia, Missouri, David Jones of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, Melissa Carroll, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, Ronnie Joe Stoller of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, Zachary Alan Wheat of Jefferson City, Missouri, Tanya Willis of Macks Creek, Missouri, and Kelly Newell, of Stoutland, Missouri; twelve great-grandchildren; along with several other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Carrie Blackburn; her husband Harold Glenn Tickner; two sons-in-law, Eddie Jones and Zack Wheat; two half brothers and six half sisters.
