Nancy Faulkner Beaver, 53, of Rockwell went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at her home. Nancy was born on December 20, 1959 in Stanly County, a daughter of the late Thomas Lewis and Margaret Corne Faulkner. Nancy attended North Stanly High School, and worked for Thor-lo as a packer. She was a member of West Park Baptist Church, she enjoyed Zumba, fitness, working in her yard, and yard sales.
In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by a brother, Mike Faulkner.
Survivors: Nancy is survived by her husband, Tony Wayne Beaver; daughters, Misty Dawn Harrison of Rockwell, Dixie Jones and husband Steven of Salisbury, and step-daughter Kristin Beaver of Raleigh. Brothers, Kent Faulkner and Glenn Faulkner both of Albemarle. Sisters, Annette Faulkner of Albemarle, Marie Carver of Albemarle, and Geraldine Fraley of New London. Nancy is also survived by 5 grandsons, Lucas, Bradley, and Nicholas Jones, Tyler and Chance Beaver.
Service: The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Powles Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. Charles Carver, Pastor of West Park Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park in Albemarle.
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 31, from 7 to 9 PM at Powles Funeral Home.
