Joe Fleischacker, 73, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, after a courageous battle with blood cancer.

Joe was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a supervisor at Concrete Precast and retired as co-owner of Nurse Finders of Iowa. Joe enjoyed playing the horses, trips to Vegas, and spending time with his family.

Joe is survived by his wife, Willie; his daughters, Kelli (Joel), and Denise (Forest); his sons, Todd (Marcy) and Greg (Lisa); ten grandchildren; his brother, Paul (Susan); and his sister, Marcia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary, and his grandson, Matthew.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, at All Saints Catholic Church, 650 NE 52nd Avenue.

The family thanks Dr. Tom Buroker for his compassionate care and a special thanks to Kristen, Brittany, Monica, Jolene, and Craig from Powell 3.
