Mrs. Ollie Kay (Rigsby) Keith, 86, of San Antonio passed away Thursday, January 27, 2005 at a San Antonio hospital. Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, January 31 at Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard with Rev. Jerry Irvin officiating. Mrs. Keith was born February 12, 1918 in the Munger community near Hubbard to John C. and Beatrice (Adams) Rigsby. She was raised in Munger and Hubbard and was a graduate of Hubbard High School but had been a longtime resident of San Antonio at the time of her death. She enjoyed painting and ceramics and was an animal advocate for many years. Mrs. Keith was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hubbard. Survivors include her husband, Colonel James J. Keith of San Antonio; a nephew, Bill Woodham of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a niece, Marilyn Moody and husband, James of Houston and her beloved cats and pet deer. The family requests that memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church of Hubbard, Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard or an animal shelter of one's choice.
