PHILLIPS, Mr. Ted, of Richmond, departed this life January 27, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Rosa Phillips; one daughter, Antoinette Phillips; two stepchildren, Angela Harris and Anthony Barnes; four grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one sister, Lucille Lee; one brother, Charles Phillips; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; his mother-in-law, Rachel McFadden; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon, at Sixth Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 14 W. Duval Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Tyrone Nelson, pastor, officiating. Entombment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45 a.m. Thursday. Online condolences can be made at www.jenkinsjr.com.
