A service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at Pleasant Plains Missionary Baptist Church in Lancaster, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 601 Winchester Ave., Monroe, N.C.

Born in Lancaster County, SC, Sunday, March 23, 1952 a son of the late Charlie and Edna Harris Huey. At an early age he joined Pleasant Plain Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee, Usher and member of the Mens Choir, a graduate of Parkwood High School and worked as a Machinist at Square D Corporation.
Michael was a loving husband, father and grandfather and everyone's favorite "Uncle Mike". He was proceeded in death by three brothers, Mr. LeAndrew Huey, Mr. Sampson Huey and Reverend Charlie Huey and two sisters, Mrs. Louvenia Drakeford and Mrs. Aliene Fletcher.
