PEORIA-Theresa I. Joseph, 75, of Peoria died at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at Buehler Home. Born on April 12, 1931 in Peoria to George and Anna Gibson Kelch. She married Sarkas M. Joseph on September 13, 1949 in Paragould, Arkansas. He died on December 14, 1972 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Surviving are three sons, Michael (Chris) Joseph of Cornelius, NC, Gregory (Cynthia) Joseph of Grandville, MI, Martin (Christy) Joseph of Crystal Lake, IL; six daughters, Janie (Dan) Yoches of Yorkville, IL, Cindy (Vince) Ferguson of Knoxville, TN, Denise (Tim) Frank of New Berlin, WI, Beth Ann (Dean) Metz of Huntersville, NC, Nanette (Jeff) Paulson of Mesa, AZ and Mollie (Rick) Jockisch of Peoria, IL; 25 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bernadine (Fred) Fischer and Joanne Matarelli both of Peoria, IL; one brother, Ardy (Nancy) Kelch of Peoria, IL; five sisters-in-law, Lucille Joseph of Peoria, IL, Helen (Robert) Couri of East Peoria, Eileen (Leonard) Unes of Peoria, IL, Annie Joseph of Peoria, IL and Nina Joseph of Peoria, IL; one brother-in-law, Thomas (Diana) Joseph of Peoria, IL; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A graduate of AOL Class of 1949. She was a retail sales clerk at Eddie Bauer for 12 years. An active participant at The Clubs at River City. She was faithful in attendance at the Adoration Devotions at Holy Family and St. Philomena Churches. She was a former member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Peoria Heights. A Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Philomena Church with Rev. Donald Henderson officiating. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday at Wright & Salmon Mortuary with recitation of the rosary at 5:45 pm. Additional visitation will be 30 minutes before the mass at the church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to ALS Society of Peoria or St. Philomena Build Our Legacy Fund.
