There will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Nathan Doyle Pugh, age 29, of Shelbyville, who passed suddenly from injuries in an automobile accident Sunday Jan. 27, 2013. The gathering will begin Wednesday from 3:00 until 9:00pm and then on Thursday starting at 11:00 am until the service time at 1:00pm Thursday afternoon Jan. 31, 2013 in the chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Brother Donnie Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.
Nathan was born in Murfreesboro, TN, and is the son of Ricky Doyle Pugh & Kathy Henley Pugh and was preceded in death by grandfather Owen Henley. He was operations manager for Brickman Landscaping Service in Franklin, and was of the Church of Christ faith. He played baseball for Shelbyville Central High, Columbia State & MTSU, he was a member of the National Honor Society, loved fishing, duck & deer hunting, was a avid UT & Titans fan and he loved to be outdoors whether it was for play or work.
Survivors in addition to his parents, grandfather Huston Pugh, Jr. and grandmother Silvia Pugh and grandmother Billie J. Helton, sister April Pugh (Matt) Long, nephews Zachary& Ethan Rollins & Owen Long numerous aunts & uncles and cousins.
