Martha Leota Fox Frye, 92 of Lake Vista Lane, Taylorsville, died Thursday, December 8, 2011 at her home. She was born in Alexander County, June 27, 1919 daughter of the late Charlie and Daisy Mock Fox.
She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Willard Andrew Frye, a grandson Mark Andrew Frye; sisters Lou Ann Shook and Virgie Bowman; brothers Arthur, Perry, James, Roy, Ray, Paul and Millard Fox.
Survivors include two daughters Annie Mae Russell and husband Bob, and Londie Cothren and husband Tony all of Taylorsville; a son Ronald Frye and wife Linda of Taylorsville; grandchildren Tony Lynn Cothren, Leslie Cothren and Sherry Pantovich; eight great grandchildren, four step grandchildren, three step great grandchildren and one step great great grandchild; special friends Dayne Chester and Mark Patrick; she is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Friendship Lutheran Church. The Revs. Todd Rauscher and Phil Thorsen will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Friendship Lutheran Church, one hour prior to the funeral service.
