Gene was born July 18, 1935 in Pasadena, CA, the son of William and Ida (Speer) Rogers and died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in Muskogee. On April 25, 1964, Gene married Helen McDowell at Bellflower, CA. He served his country in the Navy. Gene had lived in the area since 1971 and was a member of Crescent Valley Baptist Church. Prior to retirement, Gene had worked as a machinist and had been the General Manager at Zapata Industries. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Ray Rogers and his parents.
