John S. Rezba, age 88, of Peachtree City, Georgia, died January 17, 2004. He was born in Wisconsin May 19, 1915, the son of John and Rose Rezba. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1939 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He served in the Navy as an Executive Officer during World War II. He was married to Rita Sweeney on November 28, 1942. He was employed with Kimberly Clark Corporation in management for over 40 years. John and Rita moved to Peachtree City in 1996. John's hobbies include recording jazz and big band era music, champion bridge player, racquet ball, golfer, boater, amateur radio operator, photography and inventor. He was a scoutmaster, member of the Rotary Club, Knights of Columbus and the NRA.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rita Rezba; sons, Thomas (Madeline) Rezba of Peachtree City, Steve (Judy) Rezba of Brentwood, Tennessee; daughter, Susan (Al) Triunfo of St. Charles, Missouri; grandson, Michael Rezba; granddaughters, Jennifer Rezba, Katherine Rezba Whelply, Carolyn Rezba, Christina Triunfo and Jacqueline Triunfo.

Funeral services held Monday, January 19 in the chapel of Carmichael-Hemperley, Peachtree City, GA with Father John Walsh officiating. A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in the near future.
