Mr. Clance was a life long resident of Twiggs Co., the son of the late Jesse M. Clance and Elizabeth Stokes Clance. He was a retired Water Treatment Plant Operator and had worked with Nord Kaolin and Pollution Equipment Management Company. He loved music and making music with his friends. Mr. Clance was preceded in Death by his Sisters Sarah Ann Purser and Ruby Jean Loyd.
Survivors include his wife Callie Wilson Clance of Macon, Daughters Melissa (Tracy) Stille and Angel (Todd) Goad, Sisters Mary Godwin, Nellie Parker, Pearlie Simmons, Brothers Jesse Clance Jr., Jerry Clance, and Jack Clance, Grandchildren Danielle Goad, Paige Goad, Savannah Goad, and Floyd Stille.
