Louis A Achimon, Sr, 84, a resident of Vidalia, GA, formerly of Tallassee, AL, passed away Thursday, December 13, 1984, in Vidalia, GA. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 16, 1984 at 2 p.m. from the First Baptist Church, Tallassee, AL, with Dr. David Bentley officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Surviving relatives include two sons, Louis A Achimon, Jr., Vidalia, GA, and Richard S Achimon, Mobile, AL; and four grandchildren. Mr. Achimon was a member of the First Baptist Church, Tallassee, AL. He retired from the Alabama Power Company as an assistant superintendent of Yates and Thurlow Dams in November 1966. The family will receive friends at Jeffcoat Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Saturday, December 15, 1984.
