8/2/1934-After a short illness of typhoid fever, Mrs Lamon Johns died at her home at Cedar Bluff last Friday morning. She was 25 years of age and is survived by her husband, Jack Johns, three children: June, 4years;(Marian June),James, 2 years; and a two month old baby;(Ross), her parents, M/MJ.A.Parker; one brother, Lester Parker; two sisters, Mrs Lassie Franklin of Portland and Mrs Pauline Meador residing near her father's home at Maple
Grove; one half-brother, Loyd Parker, and a half-sistger, Mrs Lillie Smith of this place.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. N.C. Fuqua at Cedar Bluff Baptist Church of which she was a devoted member. Burial was in the Wootten Cemetery at Maple Grove.
