Eddie L. Bowman, 58, RR 4, St. Anne, died Wednesday at Lakeside Veterans Administration Hospital, Chicago.
He was born Sept. 18, 1923 in Greenwood, Miss.
Mr. Bowman had lived in this area for 14 years and had been employed as a shipping clerk.
Survivors include his wife, the former Odessa Jackson, to whom he was married in 1958, in Chicago; two sons, Reginald Bowman of St. Anne and Bernard Farmer of Momence; six brothers, Jimmy, Rufus and Willie Gene all of Chicago, James of Missouri, Willie of California and Carl of Cincinnati, Ohio; three sisters, Lizmae Harper and Fannie Mae Bowman, both of Robinsonville, Miss. and Ruth Mae Bowman of California.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until the services at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Christian Hope Baptist Church, Pembroke. The Rev. Isiah Calhoun will officiate.
Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Momence Cemetery.
Arrangements were completed by the Leggett Funeral Home.
