She departed this earthly life on January 18, 2013. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Franklin; and sister, Virginia Roberts.
She leaves to cherish her memories, four children: Mary (Ron) Cox, Willie Franklin, Atlanta, GA; John Franklin, and Robert White, Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren: Ronald Alexander Cox, II, Groton, CT; Derrick Franklin and DeAngelo Franklin, both of Atlanta, GA; Ashley Washburn and Heather Washburn, LaGrange, GA; sister, Sarah Franklin, LaGrange, GA; brother, George White, Jr. (Rosie) Harvey, IL; brother-in-law, Wylie Roberts, Sr., Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives, and friends.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Saint Paul Baptist Church with Rev. Edward Lane and Rev. Fred Stanley officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery.
