On Wednesday morning last, at her husband's residence, in Londonderry Township, Bedford county, Pa., about eight miles from Cumberland, Mrs. M. MATTINGLY, wife of H. Mattingly, Esq. of a confinement of about two weeks, of Measles. She bor her sickness with that composure and resignation which always characterizes the sick bed of the meek and humble christian. She was greatly esteemed by all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance, and those who knew her best, esteemed her most. She was a kind-hearted and obliging neighbor. She has left a disconsolate husband, and four children the youngest only about six months old, to mourn the loss of an affectionate wife and tender and indulgent mother. On Thursday, her remains were interred in the Catholic burial ground, near Mr. Johathan Arnold's, in the presence of a large number of sympathizing friends.

"____" Green be the turf above her
"None knew her but to love her,
"None named her, but to praise."
