Journalist. Host of the long-running CBC radio and television program, Luncheon Date. Glover was known for his 'pull-no-punches' interview style, and was often crticized for being too soft on his guests. He defended his style, however, saying that the "TV-watching public loves the faces of the famous and we showed them with dignity and class." Between 1963-1975, Glover interviewed some 11,500 guests. One of Glover's most famous broadcasts was the live Nov. 1973 broadcast of a wedding ceremony between Stompin' Tom Connors and Lena Walsh.
