JACK EDWARD WOLF passed from this life Saturday morning, January 26, 2013, in Texas City.

Born August 10, 1942 in Galveston, Texas, Mr. Wolf had been a resident of Galveston County his whole 70 years plus but had made Hitchcock, Texas his home for the past 60 years. He had a passion for traveling, making flower arrangements and cooking. Mr. Wolf also enjoyed birds, collecting precious stones and was a former member of the Hitchcock Jaycees.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Edward Wolf and Selma Louise Wolf-Brownell; brother, Adolph Ritchie; sisters, Louise Eugenia Little and Patsy Bosworth; lifelong friend and companion, John Enbey.

Survivors include his sister, Margaret J. Gallup of Carney, Oklahoma; brother, Harry Brownell of Somerville, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 04, 2013, at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor John Newton officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
