Edna Mae Blake, who resided in Lavaca, Arkansas, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 in a Fort Smith hospital.
She was born May 25, 1923 in Cashion, Oklahoma to the late Edgar A. Adkins and Aurilla (Burris) Adkins. She was 89 years old.

She was also preceded in death by her husbands, David "Bub" Blake of Edmond, Okla., and Alfred Lee Reed; and a sister, Wilma Boone.

Edna was a retired division order secretary for Sohio Petroleum Co. in Oklahoma City and a member of First Baptist Church in Fort Smith. She was a loving mother and grammy and was a true servant of God, with her time and her resources.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2nd at Mayberry Cemetery in Central City, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston. Officiating the service will be Pastor Dale Thompson.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Gordon and husband Scott of Lavaca and one granddaughter, Addie Mae Gordon of Lavaca.
