GORDON ELAINE
Elaine Hightower Gordon was called home by our Lord on Sunday January 6 2013 in Baltimore MD where she had resided since February 2012. Prior to moving to Maryland she had been a long time resident of San Antonio. Mrs. Gordon was born in McKinney TX on August 5 1922 to Thomas Pierce and Eleanor Mary Hightower. She was preceded in death by her husband E.W. Gordon Jr. son Charles Allen Gordon and brother Warren Hightower. She is survived by her son E.W. Gordon III (Sheila) daughter Renee G. Giron daughter-in-law Mira Gordon sister Eleanor H. Wolf sister-in-law Mary Hightower four grandchildren two great-grandchildren and four nieces. After many years of service with Alamo Savings Mrs. Gordon retired but continued to be active with sewing knitting and the delicate handwork she so loved doing. As well as her hobbies she enjoyed spending time with and guiding the student in her daughter's early childhood classroom. Mrs. Gordon was greatly admired and will be remembered with much love. Memorial services will take place at 3:00 p.m. Friday January 11 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
