Lyman Boutwell, for many years a resident of this village, died Friday night in the City hospital, Watertown,aged 71 years. Although in ill health
for some time his condition did not become serious until recently, when a form of gangrene developed, causing his removal to the hospital. He was the son of Chester and Betsy Adams Stafford Boutwell. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nancy Boutwell; one son, Harry Boutwell, of Montague, and one daughter, Mrs. Edna Sheldon, of Plnckney Corners. Mr. Boutwell was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
