Listed 5/12/1862 as Company E Recruiting Officer at Cumming, Forsyth County, GA.
Listed as Acting QuarterMaster during 10/1862.
Promoted to 1st Lieut 11/8/1862.
He was Killed In Action in the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House, VA.

The 14th Infantry Regiment was organized by Colonel A.V. Brumby during the spring of 1861 with men recruited in Jasper, Johnson, Pierce, Dougherty, and Worth counties.
