Darrell William Spencer, Sr., 52 of Burkeville died at his home on October 30, 2010. He was the son of Charles Hugh Spencer, Jr. and Dorothy Humphries Bowman, of Burkeville, Virginia.
He is survived by his mother and father. His son Darrell William Spencer, Jr. (wife) Jennifer. His Grandson, Darrell W. Spencer, III, his granddaughters, Alexis K. and Briana G. Spencer. His sister Catherine Spencer Dail (Jim), and beloved brother Charles Hugh Spencer, III and a half sister.
A graveside service was held at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Burkeville, Virginia, with Reverend Clyde Shelton presiding over the service. Pallbearers were David Chenault, Larry Echols, Danny Farleigh, Timmy Humphries, Harold Wagstaff, and Ralph Williams. Arrangements are by Joseph McMillian Funeral Home in Blackstone, Virginia.
