Dixie L. Webb, age 79 of El Dorado, formerly of Lawson, AR, passed from this life on Saturday, January 26, 2013. She was born on September 15, 1933 in Bearden, AR to the late Kad Edward and Dorothy (Doherty) Quarles. Dixie was a School Bus Driver for many years and was a Retired Daycare Worker, working for Eastmain Daycare and most recently, Teddy & Friends Child Care. She was a longtime member of the First Assembly of God Church in Strong, where she loved attending and serving her Lord. Dixie was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend and especially loved her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Larry Quarles and baby brother, Lawrence Edward Quarles. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, of 61 years, Robert A. Webb of El Dorado; one daughter, Cecilia Farrar and husband Ronnie of El Dorado; two sons, Robert Allen Webb and his wife Noemi of Irvington, Kentucky and James Carlton Webb of Hampton; nine grandchildren, Marsha Ruiz, Justin Smith, Jason Smith, Chris Farrar, Brian Farrar, Courtney Diaz, Tabatha Webb, Angela Brady and Adam Webb. She also leaves behind nineteen great grandchildren and a host of friends.
