She was born July 31, 1944, in Rensselaer, Ind., to John Albert and Icie (Clemons) Shepherd, and lived in the LaPorte area since 1988, moving there from Missouri.
Mrs. Doyle was a homemaker. She loved music, her computer, games, and her nieces and nephews.
In 1967 in LaPorte, she married Joseph Doyle, who died in 1983.
Her parents also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one brother, Jerry Shepherd of LaPorte, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, a great-great-nephew, and aunts and uncles.
Burial of ashes will be in Newburg Cemetery, Newburg, Mo.
